Once upon a time there were a bunch of Internet aficionados who decided to get together in Las Vegas and have a poker tournament. They called it BARGE. The organizer decided to get custom chips made for the winner. That was such a great idea, they did it the next year, too. And they played some other tournaments and counted some cards and had a few cocktails. Everything was good for a few years. Then someone forgot to make the chips, so the winner got to design their own chips. And that went great for a while, too, until someone else (who never lived it down) didn’t make chips. A few dedicated volunteers ensured BARGE had chips every year.
Then stuff happened, including a pandemic that made everyone stay home and go back and play on their computers again, and there were no chips for several years.
But then someone decided he wanted chips….and here we are!
